Maltese Girna in Mensija Valley (Ref: 110075)
A typical Maltese ‘Girna’ with a dome-shaped roof in Mensija Valley. The Girna (stone hut) was used as a shelter from the harsh Mediterranean sun by farmers. The one in the photo above has since been demolished (through vandalism or natural causes), but has recently been rebuilt again.
